The Pipes, Drums and Dancers of the
Black Watch and the Band of Welsh Guards

Military marching bands send soldiers into battle, salute heroes and victories, and provide comfort in defeat. They can also be very good theater. These soldier musicians present a spectacle as interesting to the eye as it is to the ear, playing pipes and drums all while moving in tight formations.

The Black Watch serves as a fully operational battalion in the modern British Army. Based in London, the Welsh Guards can regularly be seen at the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
