Since debuting in 2002 and performing just one year later under the auspices of former President Nelson Mandela at the Internationally star-studded “46664 Concert” in Cape Town, the Soweto Gospel Choir has become a premiere World Music act representing South Africa, touring throughout the US, Southeast Asia, Autralia and Europe; and winning multiple Grammys and American Gospel Awards. This program of South African Gospel also acknowledges the Roman-Catholic tradition, gospel-rock and gospel-influenced secular pop - and even features a bit of Mozart!
